About me (read my blog)

I am a qualified Deep Tissue, Remedial, Body Massage and Sports Massage Therapist (including mechanical and audio sonic massage), a member of the Sports Massage Association, the VTCT, the Guild of Holistic Therapists and currently undertaking additional research with the International Institute of Sport Therapies (working on triathletes).

In 2010 I am working with the British Triathlon Federation and will be part of the support crew at Immenstadt ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships, the Edinburgh ITU Duathlon World Championships and the Budapest ITU Triathlon World Championships.

I am also attending the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon in March, Managing a team of therapists during the Official London to Paris Cyclosportive in June, providing sports massage at the Thames Turbo Triathlon Sprint Series, the Sevenoaks Sprint Triathlons; and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in October.

I came to England from France in 1998 and have had a lifelong interest studying human anatomy, biomechanics, training, injury prevention and recovery. I have always been involved in sports (15 years ballet), competing my horse in dressage, running, swimming, practicing advanced yoga and (last but not least) married to a triathlete.

I have an interest in all aspects of sports therapy and undertake around 50 hours of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) every year to ensure I am regularly assessed, keep up with new techniques and remain on top of my game. The skills I gained in my previous career as Business Process Reengineering Specialist (project management, business management, public speaking, culture change, conflict resolution, marketing & PR) have helped me set up TheTriTouch, the Sports Massage Service for Triathletes, in 2009. I now dedicate 100% of my time in my passion for sports and in particular making athletes feel and perform better.

My current client base mainly includes triathletes (I sponsor Thames Turbo Triathlon club) as this is a sport I specialise in. I also look after cyclists (one of my passions is, perhaps unsurprisingly, Le Tour de France), swimmers, runners, equestrians, gymnasts and dancers.

I am a certified coach specialising in sports and workplace-related goals. I am also an Equine Sports Massage Therapist, for more information please visit Horsetouch.co.uk.
