    Background:
Ollie BradburyI am a London/Norfolk based athlete who began competing in triathlon and duathlon last summer (2009). However previously I competed in rowing, during this period I was training and trialing for the junior U18 Great Britain rowing squad. I was ranked in the top 10 athletes in the UK, however due to injury I was forced to quit the sport. Once I had recovered, 2 years later, I decided to have a go at triathlon as my previous rowing coach had always told me I could be a good triathlete.

After only a few months of un-coached and general training, I competed in my first sprint distance triathlon (220 evening series). I finished this race 2nd in my starting wave and 4th overall. This result really inspired me to join a triathlon club that would allow and supply me with all the essentials needed to improve my racing times. I therefore joined the Thames Turbo Triathlon Club and over the winter I have improved immensely.
